I use this tool to do my research before launching a campaign for a new client. So if I need to set up a campaign for a clothing store, I need to get some top-notch inspiration from big brands on the same target audience as my client.

Some of the results are not what I want, but I can pick at least 3 to 5 advertisers from the 15 pages of results, that are in my niche and I can get some inspiration from.

Beyond popular names and lovely pictures, you need to look for 4 components of successful Facebook Ads:

1. It’s visual – your image needs to be visually appealing and attention grabbing. And don’t forget about optimal image sizes.

2. It’s relevant – if you’re showing ads that aren’t relevant to your target audience, then you’re wasting your time and money and will likely not see success with any kind of advertising.

3. It includes an enticing value proposition – saying you have the most elegant dresses in the world will not make people come to your business’s Page, but maybe offering 20% off will.

4. It has a clear call-to-action – add a CTA like “Buy now and save X%,” or “Offer ends soon” and add a sense of urgency to your viewer. Your CTA should encourage people to click on your ad now.
